Y.Bhg Datuk Idrus Bin Harun was appointed as the Chairman of AmanahRaya Trustees Berhad effective from May 2007.

He obtained his LL.B (Hons) from University of Malaya. He has held various memberships in distinguished bodies such as Disciplinary Committee of University Teknologi Malaysia, Member of Labuan Offshore Financial Services Authority, Consumer Claims Tribunal, High Level Finance Committee on Corporate Governance, Securities Commission, Financial Reporting Foundation, National Institute of Employment Safety and Health (NIOSH), Foreign Investment Committee, Companies Commission of Malaysia and Malaysia-Thailand Joint Authority.

He is currently the Solicitor General of Malaysia. He has amassed an extensive experience in the legal field since joining the Judicial and Legal service in 1980. He has served the Judiciary and has held various positions such as Deputy Public Prosecutor, State Legal Adviser, Senior Federal Counsel at the Election Commission and Anti-Corruption Agency and had served as the Registrar of Companies. He has served at the Advisory and International Division and was the Parliamentary Draftsman before assuming the present office.

Dato’ Ahmad Rodzi Pawanteh was appointed as the Director of AmanahRaya Trustees Berhad effective from March 2007.

He holds a Master in Business Administration in General Management from the Southern Cross University, Australia and a Master in Business Administration in Banking & Finance from the University of Hull, UK. He graduated from the University of Malaya with a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) in Accounting and also from the University of Wolverhampton, UK with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours).

He is currently the Group Managing Director of Amanah Raya Berhad since July 2004. He also serves as a Director of Amanah Raya Berhad Group, Al Nibras Limited and Safeena (L) Ltd. Dato’ Ahmad Rodzi was formerly the Director and Exco of KUB Malaysia Berhad from 2002 to 2004. Whilst in KUB Group, he also served as the Head of Food & Beverage Division of KUB Malaysia Berhad and concurrently the Executive Director of KUB Power Sdn Bhd from 2003 to 2004. Dato’ Ahmad Rodzi is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK and also a Registered Financial Planner.

Datin Aminah Pit Abd Raman was appointed as the Director of AmanahRaya Trustees Berhad effective from May 2007.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia in 1971. She earned her Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Studies in London School of Economics, United Kingdom in 1985. Her previous experience encompasses 6 years in the private sector as General Manager, Economic and Islamic Banking Division in Hong Leong Bank Berhad. She served the Government of Malaysia for 23 years in various positions in various ministries including Economic Planning Unit, Prime Minister’s Department, MITI, Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Domestic Trade & Consumer Affairs. She was also seconded to serve as the Deputy Director of Administration of University Hospital, Kuala Lumpur (UMMC).

Her portfolio includes Chairperson of the Personnel & Integrity Committee, Member of the Syariah Advisory Council and Chairperson for Amanah Raya (Labuan) Limited. Her experience in banking and in corporate and government sectors makes her a valuable resource to Amanah Raya Berhad.

Dato’ Haji Ahmad Kamal bin Abdullah Al-Yafii was appointed as the Director of AmanahRaya Trustees Berhad effective from March 2008.

He is a Chartered Accountant by training, with more than 42 years experience in accounting and management consulting. He held senior managerial positions in local and multinational public listed companies. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, England and Wales. He was a Partner of Hanafiah, Raslan & Mohamad, an accounting firm from 1970 to 1999 and was a Financial Controller with Malayawata Steel Berhad from 1968 to 1970. Currently he holds directorships in several public listed companies, including Chase Perdana Group, Keramat Tin Dredging Berhad, Negara Properties (M) Berhad, Sitt Tatt Berhad Group and Arab Malaysian SGB Sdn Bhd.

He is a board member of Amanah Raya Group, AmanahRaya Capital Sdn Bhd and AmanahRaya Investment Management Sdn Bhd.

Tuan Haji Ab Gani bin Haron was appointed as the Director of AmanahRaya Trustees Berhad effective from 26th December 2007 and served as a Chairman of the Audit and Compliance Committee of the Company.

He graduated from University of Malaya with a Degree in Bachelor of Economic with Honors. His first appointment in the Government service was as an Accountant at the Unclaimed Moneys Department in 1977. He has accumulated invaluable experience in his years in the various government departments such as Jabatan Akauntan Negara and Perbendaharaan Negeri Sabah. He was also the Deputy Accountant General of Malaysia from 2005 to 2007.

He currently sits on the Board of Amanah Raya (Labuan) Ltd and AmanahRaya Investment Bank and also a Chairman of Amanah Raya Capital Sdn Bhd.

Tuan Haji Mansor Salleh was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director on 26 September 2011. He is a Member of Board Risk Management Committee for Amanah Raya Berhad. He is also serves as a Director of AmanahRaya Capital Group Sdn Bhd and AmanahRaya Legacy Services Sdn Bhd.

He obtained his Bachelor Honours Degree in Economics (B.Econs) and Bachelor of Jurisprudence (B.O.J) (Hons) from University of Malaya in 1971 and 2007 respectively. He has vast experience in the general administration and political field for over 30 years, and his experience includes serving as Pengarah Pentadbiran dan Penyelarasan (PTD-KANAN) of Pejabat Ketua Pengarah Tanah dan Galian Malaysia and ADUN and EXCO of Youth and Sports for the State of Kelantan. He also served as a Director of Yayasan Islam Kelantan, Director of Lembaga Kemajuan Ikan Malaysia (LKIM) and the Chairman of Majlis Sukan Negeri Kelantan.
